Remarks: Abstract:As a phosphorusfree washing assistant, sodium silicate's performance draws keen attention in assisting washing. This article studies its abilities in astricting Ca2+ and Mg2+, buffering pH value, antiprecipitation of calcium carbonate and decontamination. Meanwhile, its effects are compared with those of STPP. It is proved that all kinds of sodium silicates have their own advantages and disadvantages respectively in experiments. Its comprehensive performance is not satisfying enough to replace STPP if used alone. However, if applied together with relevant macromolecule polymers, sodium silicate can be employed as a major assistant in compound scours.

Abstract:The fast-solving polyacrylamide(PAM) was prepared by microemulsion polymerization, and the reason of fastsolving was also analysed. The properties of these three PAMs were studied,that were used to treat suspendings and COD of the waste water. The results showed that the dissolvability of labPAM was better than the other two products and the dissolution time was up to 5.5min.In addition,the suspending removal effect of labPAM was equal or better than that of France PAM,and obviously exceeded that of homegrown PAM,especially the suspending removal percentage was 98% in waste water of pudding plant.The lab-PAM could substitute the France PAM in treating steel waste water. It was not ideal to remove COD of effluent via adding these three PAMs products.

Abstract:This paper reports four reduction methods of p-nitrophenylacetic acid which are the reduction using iron powder in acid or alkaline medium, hydrogen transfer reduction using Pd/C as catalyst and catalysis hydrogenation using raney Ni. The yield of these reactions is 85.3% , 92.9% , 86.0% and 82.9% respectively. The product purity is all over 98% . We provide a tentative idea for realizing industrial production of this product from the comparison of raw material cost, product quality, simple work up, protect the environment against pollution and so on in the four methods.

Abstract:Using ELS abluent react with copper, the result is studied that the copper can be eliminated with ELS abluent. According to many experiments, it is proved that the cleaning result more increase in ELS than in kerosene; ELS abluent have a certain result when ELS abluent's temperature is under 0℃. There is the best cleaning result in 10 hours and hardly in 120 hours, mean while ELS detergent doesn't corrode cannon's bore material.

Abstract:Synthesis of propel propionate from n-propyl alcohol and propane acid and solid super acid SO2-4/Fe2O3 as catalyst instead of sulphuric acid have been studied, the synthesis of catalyst and the condition of the synthesis of propyl propionate. The results showed that solid super acid SO2-4/Fe2O3 not only reduce the corrosion of the equipment. but also has good catalytic activity. The optimal conditions were (for 0.1 mol of propane acid) using 1.0 g of catalyst,the molar ratios of alcohol to acid was 2.5∶1, the reaction time was 3.0 h,the yield of esterification may up to 97.2%.

Abstract:The synthesis of butyl p-hydroxybenzoate with ferric chloride as catalysts was studied. the effects of reaction conditions were investigated ,the optimum were determined as follows:the molar ratio of p-hydroxybenzoic acid to butanol is 1∶3,the molar ratio catalyst to p-hydroxybenzoic acid is 0.04∶1,the reaction time is 2.0 h,the yield of butyl p-hydroxybenzoate is 98.9%.

Remarks: Abstract:The stability in a high temperature of hydrophobically associating polyacrylamide in simulated Shengli brine was investigated by measuring its viscosity. The experiment results showed that the viscosity of polymer in solution decreased very fast, thiourea and micromolecule-alcohol can enhance the stability of polymer solution. Thiourea can keep polymer solution steady well as antioxygen. And micromolecule-alcohol can associate with polymer, which maintains the network structure of polymer. Thiourea and multi-hydroxyl compound with the certain proportion combines the virtue of these two substance, which increases the long-time stability of polymer solution to a great extent. And the proper proportion is 1∶5 and the proper addition is 100 mg/L.

We analysised and researched silica aerogel's structure with XRD and SEM, obtained silica aerogel product with small particle size and good character.
