Shanghai chemical Reagent Research Institute is a specialty research institute engaging in the research, development and production of various chemical reagents and fine chemical products. The institute was established in 1979. There are 150 staff members including 80 technical staffs and 45 engineers of senior and middle titles as well as a team of excellent chemical master postgraduates, doctoral students and outstanding chemical specialists. The Institute is possesses of strong technical developing enevy with numesous analytical instruments and advanced testing measures. It is one of the three largest reagent research institutes in China.
Currently, our institute not only undertakes the development of new products for the industry, but also accepts the task to tackle key problems of important projects assigned by the State and Shanghai Science and Technology Commission as well as to research and develop chemical products as necessary accessories for other industries.
The institute has developed and produced the following products:
1. Special reagents for electronic industry
Reagents special for electronic circuit plate such as fluxes, antioxidants, etc.; HC high purity cleaning agent used in after-cleaning of silicon pallet process; cleaning agent used in the cleaning of cathodic shield of tri-color tube; adulterated silica emulsion used in the dispersion of emission area of the integrated circuit power tube and diluents, polishing agent, etc.
2. Crown ether series
15-crown-5,18-crown-6,dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6,dicyclohexyl-30-crown-10,cryptate ethers, etc., used as high grade complexant and catalysts.
3. HPLC reagent series
There are more than 50 varieties of rinse solutions used in liquid chromatograph such as methanol, acetonitrile, n-haxane, etc.
4. Standard solutions
We have all kinds of standard solutions for reagent calibration, such as three acids, three alkalis, potassium dichromate, potassium permangante, etc.
5. Pharmaceutical intermediates
Pharmaceutical intermediates such as 4-SPH, 5-flouro-indigo red, amino-thioximino acid, etc., used in synthesis of the current new pharmaceuticals in the world market .These products have been supplied for some large pharmaceutical corporations in America.
6. Pesticide intermediates
Herbicide, sugar-beet growth promoter, etc.
We established co-operations with some foreign outstanding large corporations, also established united laboratories with some foreign companies for these years. At the same time, we established production base and management software in conformity with GMP requirements.
