1.Member Area

1).Registration

For New Hichem Users:
HICHEM's registration process is simple and quick.you have three options:

  1. Go to visit HICHEM homepage:www.hichem.com and "Login in"
  2. Click on the "My Office" link
  3. Else you may access the HICHEM as a "Seller"

      Fill in your member and company information (All fields with an asterisk * must be
  completed before submitting.) and submit. You will shortly receive a confirmation letter in
  your e-mail box. Once you've registered, you can use the same Member ID and password to
  access the services you have applied for of HICHEM.

  Sign-In & Sign-Out

      Forget Password?
      If you forget your password, click on the "Forget Password?" link below the Sign-In box.
      You will be asked the secret question that you specified during registration.Once you have
      responded correctly, your password will be sent to your designated e-mail box.

      Sign-Out
      Always sign out before closing your browser window to protect the confidentiality of your
      member ID and password, especially if you are on a shared or public computer network.

2).Service Plans

      Advertisements with Hichem
      Throughout the web site, fee-based services are priced in US Dollars and in RMB as
      follows. A membership confirmation email will be sent to you as soon as our Customer
      Service team has confirmed your payment and validates your membership. Before
      confirmation, our full range of Free Member services will be available.

3).Payment Method

      You can pay for services by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or by wire transfer.

2.Trade Leads

Posting and browsing Trade Leads at Hichem are great ways to find and develop new business opportunities. You can know what other members are offering, and contact them for details; or, whatever you want to buy or sell, post them here and let others to contact you.View Trade Leads

1).Post Trade Leads

Whatever you want to buy or sell, post them in Trade Leads and let others to contact you. However,you must sign in to become a Hichem member first in order to post trade leads.

2).Repost/Delete Trade Leads

After you post trade leads, you can manage them conveniently in your Account of HICHEM

To repost the ones you want to modify, or to delete the ones you need no more. You are suggested to repost your trade leads regularly to keep your information up-to-date. This is much helpful for your information to be searched out by other members and attract potential clients.

3).Respond to Trade Leads

It is easy to reply to a posted trade lead at Hichem. You will find a button ("Reply" under the detailed description of a product or service that our member posted. This link will take you to our feedback system, where you can compose a message to send to the member that posted the trade lead.

Why can't I sign in to HICHEM?

If you can't sign in, it might be because of one of the following reasons:

1. If you see the error message, "Invalid Password", try signing in again.

Please make sure you've entered the correct member ID and password.

Also, your password is case sensitive, so make sure your "Caps Lock" key is set correctly.

2. If you see the error message, "Cookie Error", you might need to reset your Internet browser settings.

3. Unknown server errors, and Internet traffic problems might also affect signing in. Wait a few minutes, and try again later.

What can I do if I forget my Password?

If you forget your password, click on the "Forget Password?" link in the Sign-In box.

    You will be requested to answer your secret question that you specified during registration. Once you answer correctly, an email contain your registered info will send to you immediately.

How to update my member information at Hichem?

      1) Go to My Office, and sign in.

      2) Go to My Account, and select "Edit My Member Information"

      3) Update your information, and submit.

What is "the session has expired"?

      As an extra added measure of security, if you have been away from Hichem services for a
      period of time, you may be requested to sign in once more. To continue, just sign in and
      keep working.

How to become a member of Hichem.com?

To register a member of Hichem.com, please:
1. Go to first page of HICHEM and "Log in" or choose "My office"
2. Choose either kind of memberships and fill out the form;
3. Follow the instructions and you will be informed by a system email once succeed.
4. Please make sure that all the columns marked with "*" are requested to fill out.

How to modify member information?

      To modify your member information, please:
      1. Go to http://www.hichem.com/myoffice ,click Modify Profile " at "My Office";
      2. Make necessary change on the form;
      3. Click on "Edit" to save the settings.

Can I change my member ID?

A member ID cannot be changed once it is registered. However, if you would like to pick another one, please mail your current member ID and password to our customer service. We will help you cancel this member ID and you can then register a new one.

Trade Leads

How to know if my trade lead has been sent successfully?
Once you have filled in and sent your trade lead, you will see a confirmation . Your trade lead will be verified by our Customer Service team, and Hichem will notify you by email to confirm that it has been published.

How long does it take to post my trade lead on Hichem after I have submitted it?
After our Customer Service team has verified your trade lead, it will be published within one working day.

How to know if my submission has been published on Hichem?
Hichem will notify you via email once your submission has been published.

My trade lead was refused by your Customer Service department. Under what circumstances would my trade lead be refused?
Reasons for not accepting a trade lead can be attributed to one of the following situations:

1. The trade lead message content is too simple. A basic amount of detailed information is required and appreciated.

2. The message was not in English - Hichem International is an English language based website, and all trade leads are in English.

3. You posted the same trade lead message twice within 24 hours. We encourage you to post your Trade Leads regularly, but Hichem can only accept the same Trade Lead once every 24 hours.

4. Your message is found false, unlawful, defamatory, or to violate the rights or benefits of others.

5. Other inappropriate messages.

I received an email message that my trade lead was published, but where can I view it on Hichem?
There are close to 1000 new trade leads published daily on Hichem.com. Trade leads are posted by Int'l Trade or Machinary, If you remember which folder you chosed to post your trade lead in, you can go to that category to view it.

Alternatively, you can click on the URL hyperlink provided in the email message we send to confirm that your trade lead has been posted to view it.

Can I repost the same trade lead more than once?
Yes, you can. We encourage you to post your Trade Leads regularly, but Hichem can only accept the same Trade Lead posting once every 24 hours.

How to delete trade leads?
Need to delete some of your trade leads? Click here (连接到contact 页面)to send a request and we will help you do this.

How to search for my posted trade (company & product)?
There are three ways to find your postings.
1. In the confirmation email we send you, there is a hyperlink which can bring you directly to the page of your posting. Click it, that's all;
2. Go to the folder which your posting belongs and check them one by one descendingly;
3. Type in a keyword in the search box and click on "Search". The keyword can be the subject of the postings, your company name or any word appears in your postings.

Why is there no email address?
We do not present members' emails due to security and privacy reasons. To contact any member, please:

1. Search for the posting you are interested in and then you will find a Reply button below the message body;

2. Click on the button, fill out the form and submit it.

How to pay for HICHEM services?
You can pay for services by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or by wire transfer

Is HICHEM's online Payment Platform secure?
HICHEM's online payment platform is hosted by ,one of the world's largest and trusted banking and financial organizations.

The credit card information you submit is fully protected and encrypted. Your credit card details are securely transmitted to the bank directly for transaction authorization using SSL 128bit encryption.

HICHEM.com ensures that every online transaction on our payment platform is conducted with the utmost security and confidence.

How to pay for services by wire transfer?
To complete your wire transfer payment, please provide your bank with the following information.

(A). HICHEM Bank Account Name:

(B). HICHEM Bank Account Number:

(C). HICHEM Bank Name:

(D). HICHEM Bank Address:

(E). Transfer Amount (in U.S. Dollars)

In the attached wire transfer message, please remember to quote your HICHEM Account number, and the relevant transaction number.

The base currency of my credit card is not in US Dollars, can I still use it to pay for HICHEM services?

Most Visa and MasterCard issuers can convert your local currency to US Dollars. The exchange rate and service surcharge is determined by your credit card issuer.
