In accordance with the decision of Customs Tariffs Committee of the State Council, imported Styrene Butadiene Rubber shall be imposed with anti-dumping duties as from September 9, 2003, for which the General Administration of Customs issued Announcement No. 53, 2003. In accordance with the result of interim review made by Ministry of Commerce, Customs Tariffs Committee of the State Council decided to adjust some of the anti-dumping duty rates of imported Styrene Butadiene Rubber originating from Russia, ROK and Japan. Matters of concern are listed as follows:
As from August 22, 2006, the Styrene Butadiene Rubber produced by Togliatti Kauchuk Ltd (Russia) shall follow the anti-dumping duty rate of 6.81% while applying for import, and the Styrene Butadiene Rubber produced by Voronezhsintezkauchuk (Russia) shall follow the anti-dumping duty rate of 4.02% w hile applying for import.
Other issues on anti-dumping duty imposition of imported Styrene Butadiene Rubber shall still follow the Announcement No. 53, 2003, Announcement No. 62, 2005 and Announcement No. 14, 2006 issued by General Administration of Customs.
