Micromechatronics is the synergistic integration of microelectromechanical systems, electronic technologies, and precision mechatronics with high added value.
The Journal of Micromechatronics is devoted to the theory and applications of microtechnology. Issues will contain survey papers, technical papers, short papers and news items in the field of micromechatronics.
Topics include, but are not limited to: micro devices and systems, micro sensors and actuators, high precision mechatronics, micro power supplies, high precision and/or miniaturized consumer products, computer and communication peripherals, optical instruments, security systems, micro robotics, bio-medical devices and systems, space applications, and other industrial applications.
In addition to covering fundamental component technologies, a particular emphasis of the journal is the integration and mechatronic aspects of diverse micromechatronic systems. |
