●The journal publishes original research papers that
cover the major advancements and achievements in the
field of chemical engineering in China. The papers
concerned with interdisciplinary subjects related to
energy, resources, advanced materials, biotechnology,
environment, safety engineering and sustainable
technology are especially encouraged.
● The columns included are Thermodynamics; Transport
phenomena; Multiphase flow; Catalysis, kinetics, and
reactors; Separation engineering; Process system
engineering; Surface and interface engineering;
Biochemical engineering, pharmaceutical, food and
natural product processing; Energy and environmental
engineering; Material science and engineering; Modern
chemical technology; Others. Papers are classified on
the basis of their relevance to theoretical research,
practical application or potential uses in the industry
as Research Papers, Research Notes,Communications,
Chemical Engineering Data and Reviews. Abstracts of all
papers are written in both Chinese and English, figures
and tables are prepared in English to promote
international exchange.
● Prominent chemical experts and scholars have been
invited to form the Editorial Committee. It enjoys
recognition among Chinese academia and industry as a
reliable source of information of what is going on in
chemical engineering research, both domestically and
abroad.
●As one of the earliest sci-tech periodicals in
China, the journal has been selected by well known
international abstracting and indexing institutes, such
as Chemical Abstracts, EI Compendex, Science
Abstracts(Russia), as well as by Chinese indexing and
abstracting services.
●The journal ranks the 1st in the chemical industry
journals of A Guide to the Core Journals of China.
From 2002 to 2004, the journal has being
successively listed in “100 Outstanding Academic
Journals of China ”.
●The journal is prepared for faculty and students in
colleges and universities, and technicians in the design
and research institutes. It is also a worthy collection
for libraries.
