The XXXVIII edition of the "Attilio Corbella" Summer School on Organic Synthesis will be held in Gargnano (BS) ITALY from June 17 to June 21, 2013.
This Summer School has a long tradition, which dates back to 1976. It is organized once a year by the Organic Chemistry Division of the Italian Chemical Society (SCI) in Gargnano, a small village on Lake Garda. Since its foundation, the School has been held in “Palazzo Feltrinelli”, a XIX century villa which belongs to the University of Milan and is equipped with teaching facilities for up to 150 participants.
For the first time this year the School becomes fully international, thus opening to international students. The official language of all presentations will be English.
In addition to being an important point of cultural reference and scientific information for all organic chemists, the "Attilio Corbella" Summer School also offers a great opportunity to establish new and profitable scientific and interpersonal relationships, as a result of its friendly and collaborative atmosphere involving participants and lecturers alike.
Thirty-eight years after its foundation, the "Attilio Corbella" Summer School on Organic Synthesis is still the most popular summer school for young organic chemists in Italy and a unique venue to meet present and future colleagues. We are confident that it will soon become so for all European young chemists. Registrations are now open and some fellowships are available to PhD students in their final year.
