We cordially invite you to the 30th International Symposium on Automation and Robotics in Construction (ISARC 2013), which will be held from August 11 to 15, 2013 in Montréal, Canada.
ISARC was created by members of the International Association for Automation and Robotics in Construction (IAARC) in 1984 to address the needs and concerns of a global community in all fields of construction, including civil and building engineering, machine automation, robotics applications to construction, Information Technology innovations, planning, logistics, etc. IAARC’s membership is not restricted to end-users, manufacturers and researchers, but welcomes participation from other industrial sectors and government. ISARC has been hosted in several countries worldwide, produced diverse referred papers that have been published in proceedings worldwide. Combined, these form a compelling illustration of how Automation and Robotics in construction developments continue to evolve into the marketplace.
ISARC 2013 will be very unique as it will also include parallel and joint sessions in Automation and Robotics in the Construction and Mining industries – and will be held in conjunction with the 23th World Mining Congress. This will give the three industries an opportunity to share experiences, knowledge, best practices and lessons learned.
Together, both conferences will sponsor a joint trade show where the cross over between all vendor types will provide the latest in technology and equipment.
As such, it will not only host a prestigious gathering of researchers, academics, and industry practitioners in all specialty areas related to the construction industry, but will also include the participation of renowned experts in the fields of construction and mining robotics and automation – from academia and industry.
Please join us, share and learn about the most recent advances in construction and mining, information technologies, field instrumentation and sensors, automation in excavation and haulage, safety and environmental issues, fleet management systems, and computer-aided process design and optimization.
